Ah Shakespeare, the master. Indeed, I always liked Shakespeare's works to the old testament. Just like in the old testament there are so many hints and hidden connections, Shakespeare uses the same style. Indeed his themes are timeless.
For example, in king Lear the king gives all of his worldly estate to his children. He misjudges both his treacherous disloyal daughter and his loyal and upright daughter, alienating both of them. Is there not a lesson here for us parents?
